Promotional Launch Period
As part of the launch of Dobcy, we may provide eligible users with a limited-time promotional membership period at no charge.
During the promotional launch period, eligible users may access the membership without being charged a subscription fee.
The promotional period is a one-time launch offer and is available only during the period announced by Dobcy.
The promotional launch period will end on the date communicated by Dobcy. For example, if the launch period ends on 15 September, the free promotional access will end on that date.
No payment is collected from users for the promotional period.
After the Promotional Period
Once the promotional launch period has ended, Dobcy will begin offering paid memberships according to the plans and prices displayed on the website.
Unless Dobcy explicitly announces another promotional offer, new users who subscribe after the promotional launch period will not receive a free trial.
All applicable subscription fees will be clearly displayed before payment is completed.
Automatic Conversion After the Promotional Period
If your account is eligible for the promotional launch period and you have provided a valid payment method for a paid subscription, your membership may automatically convert to the applicable paid subscription when the promotional period ends.
You may cancel your membership before the promotional period ends if you do not wish to continue with a paid subscription.
If you cancel before the promotional period ends, no subsequent subscription charge will be made for continuing the membership.
Refund Eligibility
Refunds apply only to payments that have actually been charged.
Because the promotional launch period is provided free of charge, there is no payment to refund during the promotional period.
Refund requests may be considered in the following circumstances:
- Duplicate payments.
- Accidental or erroneous payments.
- An incorrect membership plan being purchased.
- Billing errors.
- Other exceptional circumstances approved by Dobcy.
Refund eligibility is subject to the conditions described in this policy.
Change of Mind
If you change your mind about a paid subscription, you may cancel your subscription to prevent future renewal charges.
Cancellation by itself does not automatically result in a refund for a payment that has already been processed.
Any refund request will be reviewed in accordance with this Refund Policy.
Duplicate Payments
If you have been charged more than once for the same subscription or billing period, please contact our support team.
After verification, duplicate charges will be refunded to the original payment method used for the transaction.
Erroneous Payments
If you believe you have been charged incorrectly or a payment was made in error, please contact our support team as soon as possible.
We will review the transaction and, where appropriate, issue a refund to the original payment method.
Wrong Plan
If you accidentally purchase an incorrect membership plan, contact our support team as soon as possible.
We may review the transaction and, where appropriate, provide a refund or assist with moving you to the appropriate plan.
Any difference in price between plans may apply.
Billing Errors
If you believe you have been incorrectly charged because of a billing or technical error, please contact our support team.
We will investigate the transaction and correct any confirmed billing error, including issuing a refund where appropriate.
Cancellation of Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions may automatically renew according to the billing cycle selected at the time of purchase.
You may cancel your subscription before the next renewal date to prevent future charges.
Cancelling auto-renewal:
- Prevents future subscription charges.
- Does not automatically refund a payment that has already been processed.
- Generally allows you to continue using the membership until the end of the current paid billing period, unless otherwise stated.
Refund Processing
Once a refund has been reviewed and approved:
- The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the payment.
- You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been initiated.
- Refunds generally take 7–10 business days to appear in your account.
The actual time required for a refund to appear may vary depending on your bank, card issuer, UPI provider, or other payment service provider.
Payment Gateway Fees and Taxes
Approved refunds are processed for the refund amount approved by Dobcy.
Payment processing fees, gateway charges, and applicable taxes incurred by Dobcy in connection with the original transaction may not be recoverable by Dobcy from its payment service provider.
Any such costs will not reduce the refund amount approved for the customer, unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly communicated at the time of purchase.
Refund Request
To request a refund or report a billing issue, please contact our support team and provide the following information:
- Your registered email address.
- Your Razorpay Payment ID or transaction reference.
- The date of the payment.
- The membership plan purchased.
- The reason for your refund request.
Providing accurate transaction details will help us review your request more quickly.
Abuse and Misuse
Dobcy reserves the right to reject refund requests where there is evidence of:
- Fraudulent activity.
- Payment abuse.
- Repeated or excessive refund requests.
- Abuse of promotional offers.
- Attempts to circumvent subscription or payment restrictions.
- Violation of our Terms and Conditions.
Promotional Offers
The promotional launch offer is subject to availability and eligibility.
Dobcy reserves the right to modify, suspend, extend, or discontinue promotional offers at any time.
Any future free trial, discount, or promotional offer will be subject to the specific terms communicated for that offer.
